Sextant is a personal fitness and training application. This policy explains what information the app may access, how it is used, and how to contact the operator about privacy questions.
Information we collect
- Basic account information used to authenticate access to the app.
- Workout logs, notes, recovery inputs, and other information you intentionally enter.
- Apple Health data that you explicitly grant the app permission to access.
- Oura account data that you explicitly grant through Oura OAuth, when connected.
How the data is used
- To display readiness, recovery, trend, and workout information inside the app.
- To sync your training history and structured logs across supported views and services.
- To support race-planning summaries, chat responses, and adaptive workout context.
- To maintain service reliability, diagnose issues, and secure access to the app.
Health data
Health-related data is used only for personal training, recovery, and progress-tracking features. Sextant is not a medical product and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
Sharing
Data is not sold. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers required to operate the app, including hosting, storage, and authentication services, solely to run the product.
Retention
Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain training history, and support the intended app experience, unless deletion is requested or a service is discontinued.
Your choices
- You may revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in Apple Health settings.
- You may disconnect Oura access by revoking the OAuth connection.
- You can request deletion or review of stored app data by contacting the address below.
